Terms of Use
1. Using Pocket
Pocket helps you save, organize, and retrieve personal material. You must use Pocket lawfully and only save content you are permitted to access or keep.
2. Your content
You retain responsibility for and ownership of the links, notes, images, documents, and other content you add. You grant Pocket only the limited permission needed to process that content and provide features you choose.
3. Pocket Free and Pocket+
Core local saving, organization, and search are available without a subscription. Pocket+ adds optional paid features such as cross-device sync and expanded processing.
4. Auto-renewable subscriptions
- Monthly and yearly Pocket+ plans are offered through Apple’s App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when purchase is confirmed.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
- Use Restore Purchases in Pocket to restore an eligible active subscription.
Prices and availability are shown by the App Store before purchase and may vary by country or region.
5. Third-party services and content
Public links, previews, Apple services, Supabase, and optional AI providers are subject to their own availability and terms. Pocket cannot guarantee that a third-party webpage, preview, or service will remain available or unchanged.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Pocket to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, abuse services, bypass access controls, or interfere with the operation of Pocket or its providers.
7. Availability and changes
Pocket may evolve, add, remove, or change features. We aim to preserve your local-first library and provide reasonable notice when a change materially affects paid features.
8. Disclaimers
Pocket is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Search, OCR, classification, and generated answers may be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify important information against the original source.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pocket is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the app. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
